I think this is some sort of poker chip or token maybe. I believe it is bone or something along those lines. Anyone have an idea?

@mar, please re-take your pics outside of the flip as this is obscuring the view somewhat. I do see a number 5 in the center of the second pic, but can't quite figure out the monogram/initials on the first pic as it gets too pixelated when I crop, enhance, and enlarge your current pic. Thx.

Yes, it's definitely a casino gaming chip. Here's one just like it on Numista, attributed as a 5 franc token from Monte Carlo casino, in Monaco, early 20th century. The monogram is transliterated as "SCI".

Ok yes those pics are so much better. I'm pretty sure that you have a poker chip/casino token. And now a little spitballing: that monogram looks like some combination of X I C, where the letter C could stand for Casino. Also though, it could easily be someone's personal chips with their own initials on there.

I see that there is a poker chip forum on the interwebs (link below). You might have luck posting there, but if you find out more, please circle back here with the answer so that we can all learn something. Thx.
