Are There Any Female Coin Enthusiasts?

I've noticed that female coin collectors are few and far between.

On occasion, I help a buddy of mine when he has a table set up at a show. I make it a point to interact, and thank, the few women that walk by looking for coins that aren't there to be with their significant other. I ask them how they got interested in the hobby, how long, and what type of coins they are interested in. I find discussions with them to be highly refreshing!

Aside from the main topic, I also appreciate seeing younger (under 60yr old) hobbyists too.

I would love to have my grandparents Pokémon cards...

I'm a female and started collecting when I was a kid. But I've been through many stages, when I moved to a different country in college my hobby took a break, then I came to USA for higher studies and realized the hobby in the USA was in a totally different world. And I had to learn to grade, take care of the coins etc., then when kids came along my hobby took another hiatus, too busy with life and didn't have enough funds for the hobby but still loved the hobby and would surf the forum every so often. With two teenagers I wanted to get them involved and took them to a coin show, while my oldest seem interested she didn't like attending the show said too many older gentleman and didn't want to go back. But 3 years later she wants to do a research paper on coin collecting and did some background reading and is planning to attend a show this weekend. I'm hoping this will spark her interest and will decide to start a collection of her own.
I must say I do feel a little out of place when I'm at coin shows since female numbers as collectors are few, most females I see are either a parent or a spouse.
