1999 P Georgia Off Center
(two images for both sides)

Happy Monday! I found this 1999 P Georgia Off Center going through my Uncle's coins. I know I am a newbie, but this was exciting to find because it is obviously an error. Thought I'd share it with you guys.

Very nice off-center strike. You can check ebay sold values for an idea on current value.

So how do you decide between a strong off center example and a mild broad strike? The coin looks faintly elliptical (although that could be the camera angle). Is it reed formation? Uniform thickness?

How look the rims? Can you show a pic?

Here are a few photos of the rim... I didn't even think to look at that. It looks like the side of the coin with the print is thinner than the side without. Also, shouldn't there be marks in the rim like the one next to it? (added bicentennial coin for comparison) What do you think?

Interesting that there are no reeds on the edge. Struck outside the collar?
