Came across this find a while back, wasn't sure what to think about it. There is a strike through in the eagles breast area, but the doubling of QUARTER DOLLAR and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA are fairly strong on the reverse.

Probably the worst photos I've ever seen on this site, quite a distinction.

wow Flow, you really need to try a 'tiny' bit harder to get good images that we can use to diagnose your coins. These are just terrible, I hate to be critical, but sheesh.

Funny, y'all zoom in on the crappy ones but not on the clear ones. Sad, but my photos reflect the answers given on here I guess

@Flow.... Here are the known '68 D DDR's https://doubleddie.com/1976137.html

Unfortunately its difficult to evaluate your pics vs. the pics on doubleddie.com. Until you can replicate the pic quality, its impossible for us to help you. Possibly invest in a cheap clip-on magnifier for your cellphone, it can produce quality close up shots showing clear separation.

From what little I can see I'll say ejection doubling - "metal pushed sideways into the lettering and then pulled upwards during ejection." It all appears to be raised blobby metal on the upper parts of the letters.

Most smartphones cannot focus within 6". It is much better to take a stable picture from further away, and crop the image.

I second the recommendation for a cheap clip-on magnifier. Mine was less than $10, and takes pretty good pictures for most situations.

Less focus will let me analyze. No need so much. Just try a new set. 1968 It is in sort of misterious strikes.
