not seeing a clash, but after a coin gets that damaged, it's tough to pick out any clash that's not obvious

Well, you've got tons of pics, but I'm still not sure whether this is all circulation marks or a clash. Also, so that I can add it to the title, what is the date? Thx.

to the CCF everything on this coin is damage. A lot of Reed Marks and circulation hits. Beware of Pareidolia.

I see possible polishing from a Die Clash and a lot of hits from damage ( PMD), plus Pareidolia as well.
Errers and Varietys.

I'm seeing damage from circulation, Reed Marks from another coin, and possible die polishing.

SPotter72, Your close ups are too close up and too much glare. I agree you need a better way to take coin photos. Also,I recommend posting one full coin photo front and back along with one or two close ups where and when needed. If we need more pics we will kindly ask.I do not know if your coin is a die clash or not but here is a link you might want to study: https://www.maddieclashes.com/John1

Quote: everything I have circled is raised above the surface of the coin You have to remember that with a reed mark or hit you will have a divot into the surface of the coin, there has to be a place for that metal to go, so it pushes it up above the surface so it looks and feels like it's raised.
