J2010 New Member United States 0 Posts	Posted 10/31/2023 8:40 pm So iam new and just start collecting as well as inherited some coins and came across this one just curious if it is all copper and missing the clad or if there is any like this.sorry bout that but according to this scale I have e it weighs 2.25 grams.. and thankyou all very much for your time. Cupro-nickel goes this dark reddish-brown color after a year or two in the soil. Metal detector users dig up thousands of dimes like this and many spend them in vending machines or roll them and take them to the bank without cleaning them.
