First 2 photo's are extremely close to actual appearance of this 1881 H Canada 50 Cents Coin. The Obverse contains a little less peripheral lavender and(but) a deeper yellow in The Mark.? Tape? Lacquer? The Coin was purchased from a seriously top tier numismatic outfit that used this third photo (white border) to advertise it.

Looks like tape residue to me; someone likely had it in a coin book at one point to keep it from popping out.

F-12 and looks like it was cleaned.

F-12 with some tape residue. Acetone will remove that.
