I have discovered a coin in my collection that seems to have some value. 1982D penny that is copper weighing at 3.08-3.09.
Strangely the 1982 no mint weighing the same as well as a weight of 2.** ive been told is because its a zinc alloy material.

I am hoping to get this sent to auction if it is worth it, which I hope to get some feed back from this community to help determine.

I am trying to learn how to add pics. I think the process has changed somewhat since the last post ive tried to create. I do everything from a cell at this time, hope to have pc going soon.

Thank you all.

Would be beneficial to see photos--full, large and sharp of the obverse and reverse. Wondering if the date is a 'small' date, or 'large' date...

1982-D LMCs were struck on both 95% copper planchets as well as zincolns.

Only valuable if it is the small date 1982D in copper.
