Took me over an hour to place an order but finally went through. Was able to place the order via the RCM APP using my cell phone, laptop kept timing out experiencing issues. Try the cell phone APP, worked for me |

Oh man. Site crashed at checkout. I call in and am 36th. Wait time 40 mins. I wait 10 mins then pass through a no service zone and call drops. Call back. 43rd. Wait on hold 80 mins. 1st, next in line. Wait time 2 mins. 10 mins later RCM drops the call  . Ordered the uncirculated first strike and 50 cent roll from gatewest. I bet RCM website is back up tomorrow lol |

Their page is totally offline now. Just get an error message saying they are in maintenance mode. I got as far as going to payment but that was it. Since I am overseas, I have the luxury of trying it again early in the morning Canada time, so hopefully it will be back online.

Ordered the items I wanted from GateWest. Unfortunately no VIP discount on these, but the 10% I saved more than made up for the shipping charge. I would have waited and perhaps ordered from CA, but then I would have been hit with their extra "heavy shipping charge".

Just worked fine for me at 11:50 pm edt. picked up 2022-Dated Last Strikes Uncirculated Set, 50-Cent Special Wrap Circulation Roll, Classic Uncirculated Coin Set and Special Wrap Roll Collection: First Strikes. What a fiasco of a site.

Ho ho! Waited a few hours and tried again and the order placed with no problem. I have double orders now since I also ordered from Gateway but that's ok, as I will like this set when I finally see it. Also gets me close to silver status, not that it means all that much.

So..... 3 days after release
The site is fine, the KCIII coins are still available.
It just our habit to order as soon as possible, cause maybe they will be sold out.

I placed an order seemed ok, pending charge on my credit card...noticed another pending charge on my card...lol Now the site apparently is overcompensating for not keeping up with before.

Finally received my 50c Roll of KC coins. I made a promise to myself that After his ceremony making him King, I would no longer buy any QE II coins....and I stuck to it, except "the last set". I can't tell you how much money I saved this year, but it made my bank account look great. I'm thinking of doing something similar for a New Year's resolution!

Dcadon, I have noticed some 50c coins showing up on ebay that are obviously in hand--in fact I ordered a few. Did you get these directly from the RCM? Forgive me for my southern ignorance of RCM coins--haven't noticed any single in hand circulating Charlie coins yet on ebay. Is it likely that 2023 Charlie CIRCULATING coins will be minted well into 2024 or will it just be special mint sets and rolls that are mostly delayed for delivery until at least Jan. and Feb. 2024? yes, mine too are dated 2023 - with KC on the obverse. It's about bloody time! (said with as thick of an English accent as I could muster) and to answer a question from above - not from circulation, but direct from the Royal Canadian Mint. Edited by Dcadon
