64. the 2 hits on the cheek and jaw hurt it.

i don't think the hits on the cheek are bad enough to drop several points however, based on the photo (could be the lighting) the coin looks like it was dipped as the photos are showing missing luster on both sides maybe enough to details the coin.

@Coinfrog Please remember I'm new to this.

I youtubed a couple of videos to help me understand "Luster". I do see the cartwheel effect but it does seem to die towards the center of the coin.

MS-63, the reverse is nice, but obverse holds it back in my opinion.

since you have a challenge determining luster try posting photos without any overhead light. only diffused light. that may help. we need to see the surfaces as they look when you have the coin in hand

Thanks @panzaldi. Pics were taken by a window on a sunny day. I did have a ceiling fan light on overhead but I've threaten to throw the thing away because it's not bright enough.

I'll look into figuring out other ways to control the lighting.

It's pretty cloudy day today so I'll post a shiny 1881 by the window and see how it comes out.
