1943-D Lincoln Steel Cent RPM & DDR
the placement and rotation does not match any the 22 rpms listed on VV the DDR I believe matches ddr-006

the RPM looks to have two notches so maybe a d/d/d but definitely a rpm or d/d?

with something going on in the 3 in date and b in liberty

looks like a match DDR 6 look closely at the mint mark it might be same rpm on vv DDR the dots and letters are elongated also has the markers Die Crack from O of ONE and die chip in T of CENT

What does the edge look like? It seems too shiny.

Nice RPM and DDR! The obverse might be a DDO.

You are correct that this is DDR-006. It cross references with cc's 1DR-004 and doubleddie.com's WDDR-008. The RPM was obviously too minor for VV to list. cc and doubleddie both list the RPM though. Links below.

Nice find and very nice DDR!

Quite cool to have a DDR on a steel cent.

I can see the doubling on the E of EPU. Can someone point out the remaining doubling? Variety Vista calls it a strong spread, but I'm having a hard time seeing it.

The first dot is oval as well.

EDIT: Can you post some nice clear closeups of TRUST and maybe the bow tie?

I could be wrong but would find it hard to believe that three professional attributors missed a DDO on this die combo. It's obviously the same combination of dies too, as I stated above about the listed RPM.

Added:

And the edge pics the the Moderator asked for might help answer some questions about the abnormalities that folks are seeing on the obverse. If it were re-plated, this would come into play.
