I've seen pictures, but this is the first one of these I've run into. Really odd die as it's a 180-degree rotated doubled die. The column arches and memorial ceiling can be seen, upside down, running through bays 5, 6 and 7 about the level of the statue base. Just found this one in a roll of 1990 coins that appear to have been pulled from circulation as not a true BU roll. 1990 Lincoln Memorial cent doubled die - DDR-001

Very nice DDR tropicalbats! I've always liked that one. Never found one CRH.

Congrats. That's another different one I wasn't aware of. Now I'll have to check a couple of BU rolls I won about 2 years ago. I only checked for DDOs.

Thanks! Been looking for this one for a couple years but honestly don't see that many coins from 1990 so wasn't super hopeful. Then there it was.
And if you have some 1990 coins around, there are a couple of interesting DDRs to look for.

You may have filed this one already but I was looking at this thread again and I noticed 2-3 bumps along the inside of the rim, just center-right, at the base of the bust.
Do you know if those are plating blisters or some sort of die anomaly? (The rotated reverse got me wondering.)

Actually I'm giving it away, not filing it away. Was going to put it in the mail today but after taking a look at the "bumps" I think this is going to need a photo and some discussion so will hold off mailing it until I can get that done. I also was distracted by the reverse, and although I glanced at the obverse just totally missed that. They are raised and die struck as would be a couple little Cuds, but they look much too much like the tops/bottoms of devices to ignore. No time until this weekend to get to it, so hold that thought...

Thanks TB. Die anomaly is what crossed my mind.

There is something below Lincolns' bust. MAD clash of some kind? John1

Very cool!! I like seeing these different ones. I don't think I ever looked at the backs of the 90s.
