MM has slight spread in SW corner and fattens up from NE down to SE. Does not match any VV listings - MM positioning does not match any VV listings either.

Would appreciate opinions, can take some more photos if needed.

Are you referring to the inside of the mint mark?

Yes that mm is a bit fatter on the bottom left corner. I'm not seeing even a whiff of a split serif though. My vote is that it isn't a RPM.

I wonder if hte Mint worker had the MM punch on a slight andle when he hit it and caused the lower right side to go deeper into the die, thus making it thicker than the exact opposite side (top-left).

Tough call as the only published 'known' MM style for 88 does not come close to this coin.

Wex & CC have nothing to match.
