hi guys, ive come across this coin, but suspect it is a middle east counterfeit?
ill post a pic of the xrf results,
the weight should be 4.18g , this weighs 4.13g, the diameter is 0.5mm bigger.
all my other pre 33 ive xrf tested is approx 90% gold 10% copper.

This is the first time ive come across one of these coins that have tested different.
What do you guys think? cheers!

Your suspicions are correct
I also suspect that the core of this coin (which XRF cannot detect), is of much lower grade than .900 gold, and most probably not gold at all.

? 90% tungsten alloy, normally used for industrial purposes?
