1886 Type 2 IHC Possibly Error

I brought some coins at a sale for £2 mainly European but there was this IHC coin I in there looks very clean . I know it's type 2 what I ha e researched and know it's about 3 denticals from the A in America to the 6 and 6 denticals on the type to but on this coin it has about 8/9 denticals could it be a error coin

Yes, appears to be type 2. There were several type 2 obverse dies used and the date was hand punched on each die. Because of this the date position is different on each type 2 die. so the number of denticals between the 6 of the date and the second A in AMERICA will also be different on each die. Your coin is not an error, but it is a type 2! Nice find.

Looks like some grease effects on the date, and unfortunately the coin appears to have been been cleaned.

Might be a Grease Filled Die, in the date, and it looks like it's been cleaned.
