using these photos i'd like to know where anyone calling this AU is seeing wear on the coin. glare is a factor though. the only thing I can see is some luster missing (rub) on the left field of the reverse. if that was wear from circulation I would expect that the higher devices would show something and I'm just not seeing it. just curious if I'm missing something.

The Hair on the Obverse has high point wear. I doubt this coin circulated but it rubbed on something.

Also the reverse there is some loose of detail on the feathers.

I can see it getting AU58, but the dipping may hold it back to AU 55.

The gif is very helpful, thanks. It looks much better. From the moving image there seems to be a vertical luster break north-south on the cheek. It may be a sliding contact mark. Looks very attractive. 62-63 is my guess.
