I think I might have found a 1967 penny with a die crack. I've read that a die crack that runs through Lincoln's head is called a cracked skull, which is what I'm hoping this is an example of. Any feedback would be appreciated! Thanks!

Looks more like a lamination.

Thanks for the feedback! That does make sense, as I don't see any extruding material from the surface. I've been reading up on the difference between lamination errors and die cracks, and there was no material that filled in the crack and extruded past the surface. I'm glad this sounds like there was an actual error in this coin's production, and it's not just another damaged coin. Really great to learn about this!

I must be getting better at this hobby, because my immediate thought was, "That's not a die crack, it looks like a lamination."
