I hope this helps those that tried on my previous post to help. Sorry about the pictures. Hope this helps you all. It looks like a D over S.

*** Edited by Staff to Add Year / Mintmark / Denomination to Title. It's very important to have in the title. ***

Not seeing an RPM, in this picture. Picture is still too blurry.

That's much better. No RPM though, just circulation damage.

As much as I'd like to see one. I'm not seeing an OMM in the current post nor in the previous (locked) post. Thanks, Doug.

MechJ28,
This thread is a bit confusing. You ask if it is an RPM yet you say you see a D over S which would be an OMM. OMM's stopped in 1955 so it cannot be an OMM. You will need to post much better-quality photos for us to really help you any. What are you using to take pics with? Maybe members can give you some pointers.

Not an OMM (D over S - Over MintMark), not an RPM (Re-Punched Mintmark)
It just looks like it took a hit in circulation.

If what you are referring to is over the lower part of the S, that is definitely a hit.

If it were a D, the D would be almost the same size as the S.

Agree with all above--post-strike damage to the mint mark it appears. The photos, while 'physically' large, appear to be enlargements of highly compressed images. Yes, coin photography--and the size limits established on this forum--can be a challenge.

Sorry for the confusion. I meant to say an s over d but I agree after finally being able to get better pictures. It ended up being PMD and quite heavily to be honest. Thanks for the information.
