I had more time to look around. It doesn't seem like the Mint itself really did anything for the 30th anniversary as pertaining to the gold eagle, just the silver, which seems so odd. Just the 10th (as far as having a set with gold and silver, although the gold proofs were the same as those available in the normal 4 coin set), and there were 2 sets for the 20th with gold in them. Was there and gold eagle 25th anniversary sets? Another project. But again, nothing on the box or COA for the 30th, nor any lettered edge coins. I suspect they didn't want to have to letter the edges on the 4 denominations.
