Just bought 35 ounces yesterday. Probably will buy more today if I can sell my TJeff Liberty. Silver still looks good today at $12.30, but even better yesterday because it was the 3 month Fibonacci Retracement's low to the very cent.

Are you going to base your decisions on what folks here say? Nothing personal to other folks here, but I wouldn't. The ones who successfully "predict" which way it goes are merely lucky.

Has anyone looked at Rhodium lately? Its floating around $1000 an ounce. And to think this metal has spiked beyond $10,000 an ounce!!
As for silver, I feel that silver is always a good investment and that you should never sell. Not yet at least. I'm expecting silver to go through the roof like the 80's can't imagine within the next 10 years or less. My belief is based on simple supply and demand. Today, at the rate that silver is being industrially consumed, we will exhaust the supply by the year 2015. In otherwords, by 2015 the demand for silver will be greater than the amount being mined by a large ratio. Only 3% of the silver mined is used for bullion coinage. The majority is in industrial uses. 95% of those industrial uses makes the recovery of the metal either impossible or impractical, unless it's value exceeds $2500 an ounce.
Based on numbers like that..........hoard silver. Its time is coming.

Buy and hold IMO. I believe higher inflation is just around the corner and with the instability of the market, precious metals are a great offset right now.

Quote: As for silver, I feel that silver is always a good investment and that you should never sell. I guess it depends on how soon the economy recovers. If it does, the first thing that's going to go through the roof is gold, which is from inflationary spending. Then Pt, then Ag and then Rh due to increasing industrial use. Anyways, looking at the charts in the near 2-3 month term, yesterday's fall in price definitely made silver look good.

I am currently making small buys here and there as part of my investment strategy. I plan on holding until near retirement and then making my decision at that time based on market prices and whether I need it...probably save it as part of my cash backup.
