@sick, do you mean the largely missing rim on the obverse and reverse? If so, please confirm that the edge is reeded. It doesn't look broadstruck to me, but that would be useful information. Thx.

Yes, Spence, it does have a reeded edge. What do you think could've caused the wear on the rims? Do you think it's environmental?

IMHO I do not see here an decalibrate milling machine. I didn't see the sides and the rims.
Normally an decalibrated milling process produce rounded rims with angle of the side of the planchet.

The way I see this coin it is an PMD, no milling machine on default will produce this effect (theoretical)
