Hi,

I am going through my coins and photographing them. I had this one labelled as a 1906 Florin. Now that I can blow up the date I think it might actually be 1905 - which makes quite a bit of difference

Please let me know your thoughts

Hi!
I'm not an expert but for me the last cypher looks completely different than "5" in Florin/Two Shillings from year 1905.
I have the same coin from 1906 and, in my opinion, the date "1906" looks also different.
For me the last cypher from your coin looks like converse cypher "7"

PS. Very nice coin

Looks sort of like a mirrored 7. Interesting.

It looks like a 6 that has been misaligned.

thanks for that -- perhaps I was right the first time.

I will get out the big 12 mega pixel camera and use that to really focus in - then post that one. It's does really look 5-like using a loupe.
