Hello all.
Stopped at the bank today and bought a roll of Denver Mint 2009 USA Territory Puerto Rico quarters. They look great!
I haven't seen anyone else commenting on these so I thought I should.

Yes I am. Not having much luck at all. I might have to start buying mint sets just to fill my holes, but technically they are not the same as the coins in circulation. That satin finish really makes them a different beast; not a proof, no quite a business strike.

You'll just have to buy every year of "Satin Finish" Uncirculated Sets....crack em'....and have your albums reflect that change from the first year of those, with each and every year from now on, until the day you're dead and your son takes over !.... No more "circulation pulls" !... they won't match !.....

Here is the interesting thing... My Lincoln Cent album ends at 2007. My Jefferson nickel album ends at 2003. My Roosevelt dime album ends at 2004. My Washington quarter album ends at 1998. I won't be adding any pages to any of them. I cannot, because it means getting new (thicker) binders that hold more pages (they are all maxed-out). I have a Statehood Quarter album for the quarters, but for the others I have a generic Dansco album with blank cent, nickel, and dime pages to take up where the regular albums leave off. Since they are blank pages, I have been contemplating reordering them and adding spaces for the satin coins. I have also been contemplating starting them all 2000. Sure, there will be duplicates between the albums, but it could be fun!

Funny how the coins the Denver Mint sent to the Fed are showing up in North Dakota before they show up in Denver . I've now found a total of two 2009 Log Cabin Cents in circulation, but I had the two Log Cabins that matchbox sent me several days before I got my first example from circulation in Denver. I've only seen a couple of DC Territory Quarters in circulation.... Followup: The first 2009 coins I got in circulation were two Harrison Dollars, on Sun. Feb. 15th 2009. Still no '09 Nickels or Dimes!

I hit six different banks yesterday for D.C. Quarters or '09 Cents......no luck.....I was just smiled at and told they don't have any. I may try 15 or 20 more banks over the next couple of weeks......but that will be the extent of it for me ! Locating a roll of either one of these from a bank in my town will be next to impossible I suspect.

eagle foot, what part of the country do you live? I received the DC quarters months ago here at a local bank.
Edit: I just looked at your profile and read where you're from.
