2005 D Dime - Error Or Damage? Missing Li In Liberty

On the obverse, the L and I are missing. They line up with the N and the T in United on the reverse. There seems to be little holes in parts of the dime. Also the word dime at the bottom reverse has issues.

I'm suspecting damage ( PMD).

Looks like PMD to me.

On the obv. maybe a worn die which creates the wavy effect, with applied grease is why the LI is missing. The rest that you see is just damage. You may think you see letters in weird ares but that is an illusion.

Thank you all for your welcome and answers. I appreciate it. My Samsung phone took high quality photos but it broke. I just got a Motorola and the camera sucks.

What make and model? You can buy a clip-on magnifier for cheap.Also,it looks like the coin is in a 2x2 holder,if so, it is always best to remove coins from holders before taking pics when possible.
