But the stars I think it's not correct it's smaller than it should be how can I know if it's some sort of official reproduction. These have been reproduced for many years because of the fame of the 1804 US silver dollar. Here's mine that I picked up years ago for $3 just to say I had an 1804 dollar. Very safe to assume that all 1804's in the wild are not genuine, but are copies, counterfeits, reproductions or fakes. To me, it matters little whatever or not sort of 'not genuine' it may be.
