Can't figure out what is a gouge or a crack. Which one would these fall under? Is a break the separation, not the indentation, of the metal?

I assumed they were post-production cracks but they go under the lettering and hair bun which I assume means it happened during production.

If the lines are recessed into the metal then they are scratches, if the lines are raised then they are usually die cracks, the metal was pressed into the crack of the die when struck. Die cracks are rather common on Peace dollars. A die break is usually bigger, wider than a crack. A die gouge is the result of a scratch or crater damage on the die. At least this is what I think but I'm not an expert.

A great place to learn about Morgan and Peace dollars is Vamworld. Some die cracks have been given a variety number called a VAM if they are significant.

Added date/mint in title. The marks are incuse and top left goes under the L (or stops at and begging after the L) but goes over the n (if I'm seeing correctly) but under the G in "in god". I'm assuming it's a crack that somehow stopped right before the letters and started again, not sure how but that's what it seems unless it was like that before the lettering was pressed.
