Given the posted pics, I'm thinking PR66, perhaps PR66+. Nice coin. Bell, Jefferson's shoulder and hair (high points) appear to show 'rub' marks.

I'll go with PR-66 as well, but these are tough to grade from photos.

A very nice proof 65 Franklyn half dollar with good eye appeal . He does have a few hair lines on the bell and on Franklins bust but extremely clean fields. In that it could go 66.

This is a proof 66 cam example for compairson

i think these are pretty darn good photos. proofs are tough to photo,

i think the scratches across the bell will hold it to PF66 CAM

I missed the tiny hairlines on the bell that ijn 1944 has identified.

Satin proofs like this don't grade as high as brilliant, even non-cameo brilliant.

The "rub" marks appear to be planchet marks from slightly too low striking pressure. Common on the earlier strikes where the planchet was not fully polished. The marks on the bell are probably also planchet scratches not fully struck by the die. Unfortunately these imperfections, even though they are from the mint, tend to limit the grade.

Lovely coin indeed. I concur with the experts opinion that this is not the PR68 you asked about.
