Grocery store always seems to get new coins before anybody else. This does have a slight golden tone.  |

I've gotten a few 2024 P nickels and quarters in change recently. Interestingly, they all came from the same gas station. Those are the only 2024 coins I have seen so far. (Connecticut)

A little embarrassing here, it's half-way thru August and I have not seen a single 2024 coin in change yet.
Not for lack of looking either. I realize we are kinda secluded here in the Mountains, but man, what the?

Mintages are rivaling 2009, TACC.
Right during the thick of the Great Recession.
Never did get 2009 nickel in change and I think I got maybe 4 or so dimes that year. The 2009 nickels in my album are mint set ones.

I actually did find 2009 P and D dimes in pocket change, Jbuck.
About 4 Philly ones and only one D. I stuck the circ D in the album next to the satin D. 15 years later it remains the only 2009-D circ dime I have found.
