Say, what ever happened to the effort to put her likeness on the $20 bill?

I find it strange that the $5 is going on sale tomorrow and the Mint still has not set a price for it.

As of now it is going to be redesigned in 2030.

Prices are normally available via the Mint's Pricing of Numismatic Gold, Commemorative Gold, Platinum, and Palladium Products table, but the link to this table on the Mint's FAQ page still brings up the 2023 table

However, the price is listed on the product page as of now as $718 for the proof, $708 for the unc and $836.25 for the 3 coin set.

So, it looks like they're still using the 2023 table, as that has the price at $723 with Au in the $2000-$2050 range.

I remember when I thought $546.50 was a lot for the 5-Star Generals three coin set.

$49.00 for the half seems high to me, but I haven't followed what the Mint charges for nickel-copper coins.

Today's sale is a pre-order, with delivery expected in April. I'm getting the half and dollar in their UNC versions.

Was on-line a minute or two before the "waiting room" cleared.

Here are comparisons to the 2022 prices (no commems issued in 2023). I'm showing the non-presale prices for the 2024 coins:

Prf $5 Gold (with Au in the 2000-2050 range:
2022 - $723 2024 - $723
Unc $5 Gold:
2022 - $713 2024 - $713

So, the Half Eagles are the same price as in 2022.

Prf $1 Silver:
2022 - $79 2024 - $87
Unc $1 Silver:
2022 - $74 2024 - $82

So, the dollars increased by about 10.5%.

Prf 50c Clad:
2022 - $40 2024 - $54
Unc 50c Clad:
2022 - $38 2024 - $52

So, the half dollars increased by about 36%.

Just curious, is there a reason you chose uncirculated over proof?

Short answer: Personal preference.
Longer answer:
I have plenty of proof commemoratives with hazing. . .none of the UNC have that issue.
Also, as I added to my collection of USM commemoratives over the last few years, I'm finding I prefer the finish and appearance of the UNC coins over their proof cousins. The 2020 Women's Suffrage Centennial and 2021 Christa McAuliffe issues were the clinchers for me. Thanks for asking. . .

These products will be available at 12pm ET.
Half dollar seems rather expensive to me.

Mike, I merged your post into the existing topic.

At first I thought they went from pre-order to order, but they still show as pre-order on the site. I wonder why you got the email late?
