What is this ? The guy said there are no nicks on the coins it's just the plastic, the finish does look like the 1960's sets and it looks un-tampered with and I paid 10 bucks so if if was tampered he didn't do it,or is it fake, for 10 bucks I bought it with no researching before someone else saw it,if it's common set let me know but I can't find one on the web, mysterious. *** Moved by Staff moved to a more appropriate forum. ***

I looked through a bunch of images and found only one with the same packaging, which is odd because there should be a bunch of them if this was OGP. I don't know much about mint sets but I suspect yours is an aftermarket gimmick. Especially with two coins having the wrong date. The case is the same as any Whitman etc year set holder so maybe somebody printed up a bogus insert for it. Edit - nevermind, the set in the image is probably 1965-67. So now I think someone popped one open and replaced the coins.

It is a put together set using the SMS holder from 1966 or 1967. Worth $0.91.

Quote: The nickel and dime are 75 the others are 76,confused LOL. The 1776-1976 dual dated quarter dollars, half dollars, and dollars were minted from 1975 to 1976. No 1975 dated coins exist for those three. You can tell if a dollar is "1975" or "1976" by the reverse (variety 1 versus Variety 2).
