Thanks @Bump111 as always. The seller told me that among the 1883-O coins, there is a VAM-4 which is a Top100 VAM. He didn't mark that coin for the variety and I've been looking for it among the 12 1883-O coins I posted. Even in hand and with the markers in the link below, I wasn't able to find it. If you see a VAM-4 in the 83-O's I posted let me know.

I'll be glad to take a closer look. The "spike" in the hair void beneath the ear is the easiest pickup for this variety from photographs. I'm hit and miss right now with time, but will be able to review sometime today. Someone else may beat me to it!
