They have changed the home page from January 1st and I cannot seem to be able to find the latest determination for the RAM.
Anyone else tried the new site?

Go to https://www.legislation.gov.au/searchenter (for example) ''coin determination 2023'' in ''search for'' box and select in box ''search using'' ''contains all the words'' Then click on search and you get this:  Edited by redlock

The latest Currency Determination is out.
It looks like 2 Rugby $2 coins thru Woolworths and also a heap of $1 NRL coins from Australia post will be coming out.
The strange thing is they still have the Queen Memorial effigy with 2024 date.

I really hope these junk coins aren't for circulation. Hopefully the RAM or their distributors (Australia Post, Woolies, Annaconda or whoever else) come to realise that 'comic characters' or logos just don't measure up to the previous themes of collectible coins.
I see Australia Post are dumping the AFL sets and individual coins for much less than the original price (RAM still offers the same coins for full price - who would bother buying from them?).
How many more JUNK themes are they going to try? I guess sales of tea strainers, socks, pencils and kids toys aren't working for the RAM? Going to be interesting to see how this next lot of lollipop coins go.

Was wondering when the 2025 Proof and Unc sets are being released? It could be possible that the 2025 Baby coin sets are to feature a cartoon representation of Australian native creatures, different animals and birds than the ones that are on present coins .All are obviously in baby form. $2 Tasmanian Devil, $1 Quokka, 50c Koala, 20c Leatherback Turtle, 10c Leafy Seadragon, and 5c Tawny Frogmouth.   |
