I'm not aware of any collectors specifically looking for that number. I've heard that Asian collectors, especially Chinese that really like the number 8.

In the "Post Your New Currency Acquisitions!" topic, I recently posted a banknote that I purchased. It has the following serial number: To be honest, I didn't even notice the number until after buying it. Then I was worried about the opposite, that it might be less desirable!

Good one, mrwiskers! I don't remember anyone like that on the tour bus. It was only when going through my tips at the end of the day that I realised I'd been given a 'solid 6' note.

The frequency of three consecutive 6's is one note in 160, so not unusual at all. The solid sixes however....awesome, great find!
