I really want one of these without taking out a second mortage. lol. Seller's pics, what do you all think about a possible grade, if you can tell anything from these pictures. Thanks for any input. .jpg)

This same coin sold on ebay for $461 on 12/31/23. From these photos you are guessing if it is FH. The coin is AU58 at best. Look at Liberty's flat leg with lines that appears to be circulation rub, and the eagles breast is also showing rub. The coin has luster and a good strike. There is a PCGS AU55 FH on ebay that looks better than this coin, but the PCGS coin is overpriced.

WOW, I looked under completed auctions, I found it, same seller, relisted.
Either a return or no pay I guess. Thanks !
EDIT, I asked seller, and the response was
Hi, Thanks for your interest. The buyer never paid, and never responded to my emails.

For a little more money have you looked at PCGS examples in high AU? There's many available in both non full and full head. I love the series but not getting "UNC details cleaned" back from TPG. These are tricky raw...good luck. Looks AU details cleaned to me.

About a year ago on ebay I finished a complete set of Standing Liberty quarters minus the 1916. I was trying to buy raw coins on ebay to save a little money. In this series some of the raw coins were selling for more than the graded examples at the same grade, and I found myself getting better deals on the graded coins. The OP coin sold for more than grade value on 12/31 because the bidders are speculating that the coin is MS FH.

This is numismatic gambling.
Personally, I wouldn't bid on this coin with these poor photos and not in a PCGS/NGC holder. There's a lot of risk (cleaning/original surfaces, doesn't come back as FH) and not much upside unless you can absolutely steal it and don't mind rolling the dice.

I certainly wouldn't buy it based on these pics alone.

No way to grade from these photos. Can't see the surfaces clearly.
