Hmmm. I'll let the those with more knowledge add an expert opinion but just off the cuff, it should have a reeded edge. The Obverse bottom should be showing it - I don't see it.

I'd say AU-53, but not much luster and somewhat odd toning. The variety is GR-18 with characteristic die cracks and clashes. The weak reverse rim is from the late die state in this variety.

AU-53 was my first thought. Appears to be a little bright in appearance, hopefully there are no underlying problems.

This is closer to AU55-AU58 sharpness IMO, variety GR-18 (R1) but I net it down to AU50 due to minor concerns about the surface originality and the apparent lack of luster in most places. Still a valuable and desirable coin!
