Maybe it's just really, really bad pictures but so much of it looks a little off. the leaves on the reverse look totally wrong in spots, especially on the right side. The D in DEI appears to be missing the top of it. The crown on the reverse looks like it's not quite properly formed. Maybe it's just beat up and bad pictures, but seems likely it's fake. For many Chinese fakes, I look at the bridge of the nose, a hard place for the computers the get right when using computer aided manufacture of the dies. The corner of the eye is another place to look. On the bridge of the nose, you should see a small part of the nose between the eye and the side of the nose bridge. If it's very dark or missing, then the computer couldn't read the outline of the real coin when making the die. Report this Post to the Staff
