I found this 1954 D quarter today and after looking at Variety Vista I believe it is a DDO-001. It has the large die crack across the hair and forehead, as well as a die crack on the right wing on the reverse. I have highlighted these areas on the closeups as well as photos of the entire coin. Any help verifying would be appreciated.

This is a plain quarter. You're looking at a D. Look at 54 DDO- 003. Might be a match.

Sorry, I didn't see that the D was missing. I bought an entire roll and this is the only one that is not a D.

Cujohn - I think you are absolutely right, this appears to be the 1954 DDO-003. It has both matching die cracks in the forehead. I think the reverse may be the DDR-003. Any thoughts on if that may be correct? Thank you for your input! Added another photo of the reverse.

This is not ddo-003.
The doubling that you are seeing on the obverse is master hub doubling, and is present on all 1954 quarters.
From the pics provided,I don't readily see doubling on the reverse.

For me it is not the title.

IS no DDO or DDR here. You has a die crack on head yes. BUT 90% of the coins has this and could be find from 1932 till 1967 inclusive. Error?, me I say NO.

It an average coin with the silver value.

Thanks Stoneman, I didn't know about the MHD. Wexler say's it's on all quarters from 51 to 54.
