so in 2019 my beloved Nana passed away she will always be dearly loved and missed. I never wud had excepted her to leave me her coin collection and at the time I had no interest in it at the time so I shoved it in the back of my closet up until about 6 months ago I took them down and started to self educate myself on the whole coins thing and I am no expert but I wanted to get and honest opinion on this one I've been calling my Pinocchio I uploaded two obverse n a reverse I'm sorry if those aren't the best of images it took me forever to upload those

PMD

Short for post mint damage. Damage sustained after the coin has left the mint.
You realize when you know how to think, it empowers you far beyond those who know only what to think.

sorry I'm a little new at this and its the 4th time I tried posting because I had troubling getting my phots to upload its a 1944 no mint mark as you can see from pictures it has error in the date as well as the nose hence my name Pinocchio its in fairly decent condition I've been trying to find others like it in books on the web and you can cleary tell it was done when minted I mean look at the date that 1 and 9 are cut off or stretch

Kinda cool looking, but as others have said, it looks like this took a post-mint hit hard enough to smear out the soft metal.

This cent worked hard and took a pretty good beating before being tucked away. It's now enjoying a well-deserved retirement. If only it could talk!

Farmer2017,

Please try to properly crop and rotate photos before posting them...thanks. As already said your coin is PMD and not a mint error.

This coin is just an old damaged coin, everything you see is just metal being moved around because of being hit by other objects. Your pictures are not the best and I hope I am right by seeing a Cud above unum.
