i Really don't think that this is PMD (meaning the cent has been scraped on a hard surface on both sides).
Buuut - I stumped since I have been looking everywhere online to see something similar but I'm coming up with blanks. What are y'all's thoughts?

It is PMD. Weight? Looks like you might need to work on your photos a bit.

What do you mean "work on your photos"? If you are referring to them being "blurry" that's what the coin looks like which is why I'm questioning whether it's PMD or what might be going on.

I like your coins look. If your pictures are as you say then it may have been acid dipped. Need close up pictures to see more details but I would keep it. It just might be from a very worn out die, either way it is odd looking enough to talk about. Nice find.

Pictures are just fine. Don't know what from, but it's damage. Maybe a little heat damage with a hammer strike and a buffer wheel thrown in.

Here is one that got hit with a wire wheel brush. Looks similar.
