tropicalbats Pillar of the Community United States 6108 Posts	Posted 01/14/2024 12:12 pm A short while ago there was a discussion about "greasy ghost" error coins, which drifted a little into the idea of having a full Lincoln dropped and struck through. Mike posted a fabulous example of such a coin. (new term for me but..) with the rest of the lettering being so sharp and a ghosted Lincoln... Seems feasible. Weird that the grease is only affecting the bust and no letters.
