A short while ago there was a discussion about "greasy ghost" error coins, which drifted a little into the idea of having a full Lincoln dropped and struck through. Mike posted a fabulous example of such a coin. Well here is a pretty fully gummed up Lincoln, and one can only hope that somewhere out there might just be a struck through coin from when this grease plug dropped out.

I'd have to say "Greasy Ghost". (new term for me but..)
with the rest of the lettering being so sharp and a ghosted Lincoln...
Seems feasible. Weird that the grease is only affecting the bust and no letters.

Thanks! And weight is pretty much unaffected by a struck through error so I didn't put the weight on the slip.

Fabulous. The host coin appears to be MS so it is interesting that the grease affected only the central portrait.
