so I have a damaged / error 1945 d penny here I only am calling it error because if u look close enough you can see the liberty ever under the damage part of the penny I know these pictures arent doing it a bit of justice but take a look

...I'm kinda new to mint errors, so no expert opinion here ... it's damaged, but not at the mint ( in my humble opinion)...called post-mint damage, or, PMD ... no premium here...keep looking & posting ... nice well focused pics, btw...

The only reason I'm calling this one damaged is because the coin is out of round and THAT won't happen in the collar when it is struck.

to the CCF Might have been a fuse panel coin or welder damage.

Coin was likely used in place of an old type screw-in fuse.
They get super-heated by electricity and end up like this.
My 1911 fuse box one cent.
