This 1947-D has partial reverse rim resembling an Indian Head cent.
Probably cause by someone trying to place in a bezel. Thoughts.

I see these once in a while and pretty much consensus is yes, some kind of a bezel mount created that pattern when it was squeezed on.

Well, that is about the strangest one I've seen on a cent - and agree with the others - a bezel was crimped on to this coin.
