Man I wish these photos did this coin any justice I don't know if this is consider " error" but the piece that is missing there is literally suck on the coin next to it and it is on there pretty good I didn't want to take a screw driver to it but it don't mean I didn't think about it for a split second.

Looks like damage with moved metal right next to Mr. Chip there.
Indeed possibly a Lamination Peel and treat it with care as it could flake off.

could be a fold over lamination after the strike.
Leave it as is - keep your screwdriver far far away from it..

I don't think it is a lamination. I think it is a gouge where the metal stayed attached.
