I got this at a coin show today to upgrade my old Domitian example.

Old Domitian:
Collection-Upgrade---Domitian

New Domitian:
Collection-Upgrade---Domitian

AR Denarius, A.D. 92-93, Rome, 18.1mm, 3.27g, 180°, RIC II 167a
Obv: IMP CAES DOMIT AVG GERM PM TR P XI. Laureate head right.
Rev: IMP XXI COS XVI CENS P PP. Minerva standing right on galley prow, aiming spear and holding shield; owl to lower right.

Not that the previous coin was terrible by any means, but your new acquisition is better by several orders of magnitude. I can't imagine you'll ever be needing to upgrade again.

Really great looking coin. I love the reverse on this. I think this is my favorite depiction of Minerva I have seen.

I am trying to add Domitian soon. He is one of my favorite emperors and I've been waiting on a nice one. I will certainly looking into this type as I tend to look for reverses with a martial theme (Minerva rarely fits that theme).
