I recently acquired thru family about a dozen or so
Morgan dollars, the majority of them being 1921-P. It's a nice group of AU/UNC Morgans although nothing special date wise.
After cataloging and studying them a bit (they really look so different compared to the 1878-1904 Morgans), I've been taking a closer look at potential VAMs and varieties. Immediately a few of them stood out as strong candidates for top VAMs.
A few
appear to have the wide reeding on the edges when held next adjacent in a stack. I'm assuming that the edge reeding is tricky to see because I highly doubt there would be multiple examples in such a small sample size? Or if they are VAMs maybe the wide reeding variety isn't as scarce?
Additionally there are 2 of the Morgans that look like they maybe have some pitting on the reverse. There also seems to be quite a lot of scratch type marks? One of them in particular seems heavily scratched. This is what first drew my attention to the reverse on them is the heavy markings. Below are images of them under the scope. Please let me know what you think/ any ideas. Thank you!
Here are the 2 possible pitted reverse coins...

Here are a couple of the possible wide reeding candidates. In each picture I put the coin in question between 2 other 1921-P
Morgan dollars for comparison.
