It's fate I'm researching the coin with this description (from numista): Y#213: Spelled "FIRST YEAR"; large stars and two small stars. From the same numista page, I see two auction being referenced: https://katzauction.com/lot/147569 and https://katzauction.com/lot/147570. Both have a very similar looking coin, where the E from Provinces has a peculiar mint error: My coin is very similar to these two in the auction, I will post pics tomorrow. Do you think the two coins in the auctions above are legit or fakes? On this particular specimen from the same variery (I think), there is no issue with the E: On this one from the forum I see a similar issue with the E: What is your opinion?
