I posted this coin last week, but I was very unhappy with the photos. I've spent all week improving my photography, so let's try this again...

Your photos are much better. Some field marks showed in your first photos that are hidden in these. Looks like a real nice MS-63RD.

Agree. Better photos but flashback makes it difficult to read the fields, espeially on the reverse. I'll say MS-63RD as well.

Obverse picture is perfect, easy to read the color, luster, fields and white balance. The reverse picture is just a touch too over lit, try moving the light a few more inches away. Nonetheless, I can see the IDT luster and fields well. I'm betting the luster is impressive in hand! Flipping between 64 and 65, that obverse is pretty awesome looking with no major distractions and luster.....65RD.

better photo but I agree with the glare.

MS64RD has a shot at 65. less light would help determine that

That coin is really nice, I would be comfortable at 65 not sure if it's full red. Photos can be enhanced, Many of the coins I had graded at PCGS with trueview come back no where near the color that is
PCGS shown in trueview photos.

Whoa! That's a nice '25 was my first thought when the image came up . If there's justice in the TPGs that should go 65RD. That said, _abe, are you satisfied that what you posted is an accurate representation of your coin in hand? I used to do Photoshop for a living so I can see your settings are just a tad different between the two sides [that's not a criticism or accusation in any way, shape or form] since the background surrounding areas are different; the reverse is brighter.

You could test this by copying the settings from the obverse and apply them to the reverse. The resultant images should be closer. Just do this for yourself if you want, not for us. Variables like whether you captured on film, RAW, or with JPG as a starting point will all have an effect. Now that I've I'll just congratulate you again for good shooting and for a great 1925.
