I found the first of these two 1994 LMC's a few weeks ago and was going to post the image but thought it might not be of interest. Tonight I find a second with the same die dent damaged coin in a different box from a different bank branch.

I'm assuming these are from the same die. However the two dots on the close up are different. On the coin on the left the dots are round and the coin on the right the dots are oblong. I'm having trouble understanding how the same die, at the same time, produces two such different coins. It doesn't appear to be wear flattening.

Could also be different stages of the same die IE early stage compared to mid state or late state.

I agree with 16609, they do appear to be from the same die pair. I've seen this many times with uncirculated rolls, but to come across this with coins that have been circulating for 30 years is a rare find!

Looks like a die dent to me. It's behind the letters on the device.

Very cool finds in the wild! I agree with die dents. I posted this link on another thread the other day, Possible MAD die clashes, that actually look more like die dents to me.

The arc appears to be the same as a cent rim. I wonder if this is some weird clash and the die came down and hit another coin before it was completely ejected.

As Makecents said, possible MAD die clashes. But without any corroborating devices or letters to confirm a design from a die, these are considered die dents.

As far as the dots being different (round vs. oblong), I can't see the difference in the images.
