The "E" on E Pluribus is almost missing completely. But this is a small date an not a large date correct? Do I have a keeper here or a spender? Still new to the coin scene but learning. Thanks in advance.
That is a small date but you can tell by the plating blisters that it's a copper plated zinc cent, you want to find a copper cent. The E is just weak because of metal going to deeper places on the coin, the bust on the obverse. This is common.
just a spender - the weak strike of the reverse is due to the design of the obverse taking up much of the material in order to fully strike up the reverse. Very common.
