kurdlezuit Pillar of the Community United States 1034 Posts	Posted 01/27/2024 8:33 pm need help with this one. I purchased this one at auction when I noticed the RPM, or what looks like an RPM. I thought there was a 50/50 chance at the fs-501, since there are only two known RPM's for this date. It looks like a tilted D/D to me. I see that area on the inside of the letter D and wonder if this wasn't just a small bit of damage to the punch. Looks to me like a weak SW RPM that was probably made even harder to see because it got a little flattened by the second punch. You can find similar weak well-separated flattened attributed RPMs on other dates in the same era to get some idea of what they can look like.
